This practical assessment is open to anyone who has successfully achieved the UKBJJA Level 3 Referee Certification.

The assessment involves refereeing a live match in a tournament setting, under the supervision of Marcelo Coppa, UKBJJA Head Referee, 3rd degree black belt, IBJJF referee, Head referee of CBJJE.

Those passing the assessment will be qualified to referee independently up to their own belt level at any tournament that uses IBJJF rules*.

The assessment fee includes a FREE UKBJJA T-shirt, which must be worn on the day. Participants must also wear plain black trousers and plain black socks. Failure to abide by the uniform policy will result in failing the assessment!
