UKBJJA Junior, Juveniles and Youth Strategy for 2016

The UKBJJA are happy to announce some of the good work we are doing with Kids and Junior Jiu Jitsu in the UK in 2016.

– Top UKBJJA ranked child at each belt will get FREE entry to UKBJJA ranked events in 2016

– Top UKBJJA Junior athlete 2015 will get £300 towards any UKBJJA approved competitions in 2016 (including IBJJF Kids Pan American Championships)

– Prizes for top boys and girls over and under 40kg at regional leagues thanks to our sponsors

– University League to develop teens and young adults’ BJJ throughout the UK

– Schools development strategy

– Kids and Youths Strength & Conditioning and nutrition programmes by industry professionals

– Expansion of Juvenile divisions within regional leagues

– Letters of recommendation for regional sports awards

– Junior Development Commission including individuals such Greg Creel, Warren Berry, Vikki Todd and Neil Williams

– Child protection policies developed by James McIntyre
