- Board of up to 12, including at least 25% of whom are independent directors
- Chairman to be elected every four years by member vote for maximum of two terms
- Secretary to be elected every four years by member vote for maximum of two terms
- Treasurer to be elected every four years by member vote for maximum of two terms
- Council of up to 24 Officers responsible for areas that include: England BJJ Development; Wales BJJ Development; Scotland BJJ Development; Northern Ireland BJJ Development; Welfare and Equality to be elected every four years by member vote. (NB this list of areas of responsibility is not exhaustive)

UKBJJA COUNCIL
The UKBJJA Council is responsible for driving forward the agenda of the UKBJJA via its Committees and for holding the Board to account. Councillors are elected every four years and the next elections are due in October 2028. From time to time, Councillors are appointed to fulfil specific roles or provide specific expertise.
