The UKBJJA are looking to appoint people with strong, relevant skills and a proactive, dynamic approach to help drive the Association forwards and ensure the best possible governance as the sport and Association continue to grow. The UKBJJA Council plays a vital role in the governance of the Association and gives an opportunity for anyone who wants to play their part in the development of BJJ in the UK to have their say in how the Association is run.
We are looking to fill the following roles:
Principal Council Officer – The PCO will monitor and guide the work of the council committees to ensure UKBJJA objectives are being met and will chair council meetings
Diversity & Equality Officer – we have an ongoing commitment to ensuring that BJJ is accessible and welcoming to everyone and that the Association reflects society in terms of representation. This new position will be key to driving our agenda for positive change
Diversity & Equality Committee (x2) – to assist the lead Diversity Officer and ensure oversight
Finance Committee Officers (x2) – to assist the Finance Director in ensuring financial probity and sustainability
