Lauren Brown has been appointed to the board of the UKBJJA as a Non-Executive Director

Lauren is a consultant in the pharmaceutical industry, specialising in organisational governance and program management. She plans to leverage this expertise to help the UKBJJA prioritise and implement initiatives for the UK Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community. A dedicated martial artist, Lauren earned her black belt in Judo in 2008 and her black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2021. Originally from Miami, she now resides in London with her family.

“We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Lauren’s calibre join the board. Her extensive experience and knowledge will help drive the UKBJJA forward,” said Neil Williams, Chairman of the UKBJJA.
