PR Internship with the UKBJJA

The UK Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association (UKBJJA) is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working intern to assist with its growing media and PR campaign. The UKBJJA is a newly formed not-for-profit National Governing Body for the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is seeking to build the sport’s profile in national and regional media. In this exciting opportunity, the intern would be working closely with the PR Director Francis Lambert and the CEO Kat Hill to create press releases, manage media content and liaise with UKBJJA members and the press. They would be working with our new PR platform hosted by MyNewsdesk.

This is a unique chance for an organised and energetic student or recent graduate seeking a career in PR or with sports media to be at the forefront of a PR campaign for a growing sport. The intern will be working with a PR expert in Francis Lambert who has been involved with campaigns for major UK and international brands, and they will receive training and supervision.

There is the opportunity to work full or part-time and we would be looking to place an intern for a minimum of 12 weeks. Most of the work will be on-line so remote working regardless of your location will be fine, although you will need your own laptop and Skype access.
